Eatec named Winner of Microsoft Retail Application Developer Award!

Emeryville, CA, June 11, 1996 - Eatec Corporation, a leader in food and beverage management software for the hospitality industry, has been named the winner of the Microsoft Retail Application Developer (RAD) Award for Food & Drink Establishments-Back Office. The RAD award recognizes retail application developers who best utilize Microsoft technology to provide tangible business benefits to small and medium-sized retailers. In today's competitive climate, technology must enhance retailers' existing business processes by reducing costs and helping them grow their sales. Solutions must also integrate well with other applications and systems, and be easy to adopt and maintain. The RAD Awards highlight the applications that were determined to best achieve these objectives. The applications were judged by a panel of retail and technology experts, with a winner designated in each of six categories:

• Specialty-Hard Goods
• Specialty-Soft Goods
• Convenience Stores
