Gwinnett County Public Schools Chooses EatecNetX as its Back-Office Software Solution

EMERYVILLE, CA, September 18, 2007 - Gwinnett County Public Schools, a K-12 school district in Suwanee, Georgia, has selected Eatec Corporation’s back-office software solution, EatecNetX, to manage its school foodservice operations. Gwinnett will be able to rely on the nutritional analysis and menu cycle planning tools that EatecNetX delivers.

Gwinnett is replacing its current back-office software with Eatec Corporation’s back-office solution, EatecNetX. Once it is fully implemented, 106 Gwinnett schools will utilize EatecNetX for inventory management, recipe and menu cycle planning, production management, purchasing and receiving, commodity management, and requisitions and transfers. EatecNetX will enable Gwinnett to run a nutritional analysis on both forecasted cycle plans and actual consumption to meet USDA requirements. EatecNetX will also interface to Gwinnett’s financial system.
