The NEC Group Chooses EatecNetX’s Back-Office Software Solution

EMERYVILLE, CA, September 5, 2007 - Eatec Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise back-office solutions and services for the hospitality and foodservice industries, and Index Hospitality Systems B.V., one of Eatec's business partners in Europe and a leading information technology service provider to the hospitality market in Europe, announced today that The NEC Group of Birmingham, England has selected EatecNetX, Eatec’s web-centric software solution.

The NEC Group is comprised of five venues that together provide unrivalled flexibility for staging exhibitions, conferences, sporting championships and entertainment events. These five venues include The NEC (National Exhibition Centre), The NEC Arena, The ICC (International Convention Centre), the Symphony Hall and The NIA (National Indoor Arena). The NEC Group will use Eatec’s back-office software solution, EatecNetX, at each of its five venues to assist with the management of forecasting, purchasing and receiving, inventory management, recipe costing and analysis, requisitions and transfers, commissary production management, concessions management and sales depletion.

The NEC Group is putting food at the top of the agenda for visitors, exhibitors and organizers who visit their five venues. They offer a variety of quality food and drink offerings, as well as catering expertise, ensuring that visitors will want to return to the venues again and again.
