EatecNetX Selected by Largest Travel Caterer in Canada
Cara Airline Solutions to implement Eatec for enhanced foodservice operations
EMERYVILLE, CA – May 24, 2007 – Eatec Corporation announced today that its enterprise back-office solution, EatecNetX, has been selected by Cara Airline Solutions (CAS), the largest travel caterer in Canada, to support operations in CAS’ ten centres across Canada.
Cara Airline Solutions will utilize EatecNetX for forecasting of passenger and meal volumes, purchasing, inventory, production planning, menu cycles, flight orders and invoicing. The solution will enable near real-time updates of passenger counts, special meals, aircraft configurations, flight schedules, and gate locations to be imported for automatic adjustment of production quantities and schedules. EatecNetX will also help create efficiencies with the configuration, stocking and management of trolleys for all flights serviced by Cara Airline Solutions.
