Eatec Corporation’s EatecNetX Back-Office Solution Approved by USDA
for Implementing Nutrient Standard Menu Planning
EMERYVILLE, CA – April 3, 2007 – Eatec Corporation is pleased to announce that its award-winning back-office solution, EatecNetX, has been approved by the United States Department of Agriculture for use in Nutrient Standard Menu Planning (NSMP) and in conducting nutrient analyses that meet the School Meals Initiative (SMI) requirements in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. EatecNetX, a widely used enterprise system for food and beverage management, has been equipped with a broad array of nutritional analysis and menu planning tools. With these tools, EatecNetX offers school districts across the country a state-of-the-art system to manage operations and program compliance.
EatecNetX is a single-database, web-enabled, back-office system that allows even the largest districts to manage school operations, production facilities and warehouses from one centralized solution.
