Eatec Provides Enterprise Foodservice Solution to BUCA, Inc. Restaurant Chain
EMERYVILLE, CA – February 22, 2007 – BUCA, Inc. has selected Eatec Corporation’s enterprise foodservice solution, EatecNetX, to manage its 92 Buca di Beppo Italian restaurants.
BUCA, Inc. will use EatecNetX to assist in its management of its restaurant operations. All inventory functions - from purchasing, receiving and supply chain management to production planning and inventory control - will be handled within the system. A broad range of reports will provide management with comprehensive analysis of theoretical and actual costs, vendor pricing compliance, and menu mix analysis of popularity and profitability. EatecNetX will interface with BUCA’s point-of-sale and financial systems, providing company-wide integration of systems to increase productivity. Also, since EatecNetX is an enterprise, web-based solution, the deployment of the system across BUCA’s 92 stores and its continued maintenance are expected to significantly reduce the technical demands of traditional in-store systems.
