Johnson & Wales University Enhances Culinary and Hospitality Education with EatecNetX Software

Emeryville, CA, September 12, 2006 — Johnson & Wales University, one of the nation's leading culinary and hospitality educators has selected Eatec Corporation's back-office software, EatecNetX for its multi-campus system. With four campuses nationally and more than 10,000 students studying in its College of Culinary Arts and Hospitality College, the University's selection of EatecNetX will provide a centralized storeroom purchasing, inventory, and distribution solution at each of its locations.

EatecNetX is a web-enabled, enterprise software solution, providing multi-outlet management from a single, centralized database. Johnson & Wales University will utilize a broad array of EatecNetX features to centralize purchasing and facilitate distribution among its campuses. In addition, EatecNetX will be incorporated into the curriculum, on-campus dining service operations, and University owned and operated hotels and restaurants where students gain valuable hands-on experience and academic credit.
