EatecNetX and Sodexho Team Up in Catering
Emeryville, CA, May 11, 2006 – Eatec Corporation and its business partner in Europe, Index Hospitality Systems BV, are proud to announce that Sodexho Prestige B.V. in Rotterdam has chosen EatecNetX for managing their Party Catering Business operations. Sodexho Prestige BV is a self supporting Business Unit of Sodexho Netherlands BV.
Sodexho Prestige BV will implement the EatecNetX enterprise solution to automate the processes used in the party catering business. Phase one focus will be on planning and communication between the different departments within Sodexho Prestige, and to standardizing the correspondence between Sodexho Prestige and their catering clientele. In a later phase, EatecNetX Software will also be used for inventory management of Sodexho Prestige’s larger sites
One of the benefits of the EatecNetX System is its ability to interface with other third party software packages. Sodexho Prestige will interface EatecNetX with their financial, CRM, and staff planning systems in order to facilitate the movement of data.
EatecNetX, a true enterprise system, takes catering and foodservice management to a higher level. This unique solution employs a single, centralized database, accessible on-line, real-time from each operational site across Sodexho’s Intranet. Standardized inventory, recipe, supplier and supplier pricing tables are maintained centrally while the remote users connect to the corporate EatecNetX system and perform daily operations in real-time. With a centralized database and no remote systems to maintain, the requirement to download, upload, replicate or synchronize data is eliminated.
With real-time transaction posting, up-to-the-minute information is always available; data is secured through the use of firewalls, site addresses, and passwords. Users have access to a full range of operational and financial reports, which are easily generated for each site and can be consolidated in any fashion.
