Eatec Corporation announces an Application Service Provider option

Emeryville, CA, April 4, 2005 – Eatec Corporation announced today that EatecNetX, its leading enterprise back-office solution for the foodservice and hospitality industries, is now available through a new Application Service Provider program as well as through Eatec’s traditional licensing agreements.

This ASP program delivers all of EatecNetX’s enterprise capabilities without requiring customer investment in hardware and internal IT services. The application is hosted in a secure data center, delivered via the Internet, greatly reducing the up-front investment and total cost-of-ownership for many foodservice operations. Server-side hardware, hardware maintenance, software upgrades, database maintenance and backup procedures are provided as part of Eatec’s periodic ASP fee.

Application Service Providers can reduce the amount of time, money and attention spent on information technology, allowing organizations to focus on more strategic business initiatives. The lower cost of entry and more predictable IT support costs help simplify IT budgets.
