Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino Relies on EatecNetX to Manage Foodservice and Retail Operations

Emeryville, CA, August 19, 2003 - Eatec Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise solutions for the foodservice and hospitality industries, is implementing its back-office system, EatecNetX, at the new Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. Chukchansi Gold uses EatecNetX to manage all foodservice and retail operations.

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is owned by the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians, and managed by Cascade Entertainment Group. The casino opened in June 2003 and the 192-room luxury hotel is opening in August 2003. EatecNetX will be used to manage Chukchansi Gold's seven restaurants, two bars, an employee dining room, a gift shop, a gallery boutique, events center banquets and hotel room service.

Currently, Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is using EatecNetX for inventory management, purchasing and receiving, and recording physical inventory. In the near future, users will also input requisitions and transfers, and cost recipes in EatecNetX. Requisitions for retail items will go through an electronic requisition approval process in EatecNetX to ensure that appropriate cost controls are in place. Chukchansi Gold also employs EatecPocket, a wireless pocket PC accessory of EatecNetX, in the retail operations. EatecPocket simplifies the taking of physical inventory. EatecNetX-generated bar code labels are scanned, and the item count input, instantly updating the database.
"EatecNetX is ideal for our casino hotel operations in its ability to manage both foodservice and retail inventory items," said Doug Shipley, vice president of project development for Cascade Entertainment Group. "Eatec's back-office technology will enable us to proactively manage our food and retail profitability while optimizing the efficiency of our operations."

In September 2003, EatecNetX will interface to Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino's point-of-sale (POS) and financial systems. EatecNetX will have a two-way XML interface to the POS, which will allow EatecNetX to auto update the POS database with price changes and new products. POS sales data will be imported by EatecNetX, which will allow for inventory depletion and profit analysis reports by outlet. The buffet management function in EatecNetX will also facilitate managing the profitability and production for the buffet.

The EatecNetX implementation began in June 2003 and will be completed in September 2003.
