Eatec Supports Microsoft 64-bit Platform to Deliver Enhanced Performance

Emeryville, CA, April 24, 2003 - Eatec Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise solutions for the foodservice and hospitality industries, announced today that it has integrated its back-office solution, EatecNetX, with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition (64-bit) to deliver enhanced performance to clients.

EatecNetX is an enterprise food and beverage management system, widely used in all areas of foodservice. Also offered are optional modules for caterers and for stadiums and arenas. The system interfaces with other systems, including POS and corporate financials, and supports integration with the supply chain. EatecNetX's browser-based structure and its utilization of SQL Server enable a multi-outlet operator to control its entire operation from a single, centrally managed database. With the addition of Microsoft's 64-bit SQL Server 2000, test results show a 30 - 50% speed improvement when posting transactions.
