Grand Casino Coushatta Relies on Foodservice Management Solution from Eatec Corporation

Emeryville, CA, April 2, 2003 - Grand Casino Coushatta, an Indian gaming casino in Kinder, Louisiana, has selected Eatec Corporation's back-office software solution, EatecNetX, to manage foodservice operations of its restaurants, employee dining room and buffets.
Grand Casino Coushatta is Louisiana's largest land based gaming resort including a 107,600 square foot gaming floor, two onsite hotels and six restaurants. Its newest fine dining establishment, Tramonti Ristorante Italiano, opened in January 2003 and features authentic Italian cuisine as well as regional menu items. Other dining options include the Big Sky Steakhouse, Terrace Café, Market Place Buffet, Café Grande and a food court.

"We decided to replace our existing software application with EatecNetX. After extensive reviews, we felt that Eatec's software solution had the robust features and functionality necessary to meet the requirements of our casino's foodservice operations," said Charity Sonnier, food and beverage software specialist for Grand Casino Coushatta. "A key factor in our decision was the ease of use of EatecNetX and its familiar user interface."

EatecNetX will be used for purchasing and receiving, requisitions and transfers, inventory management, production management, recipe and menu analysis, and buffet management. Grand Casino Coushatta's significant purchasing volume, resulting from fifteen different outlets requisitioning merchandise daily, required sophisticated and scalable functionality. Purchasing will rely on the supplier bidding functionality in EatecNetX to auto-select specific suppliers for particular inventory items based on the lowest price offered, automatically accounting for multiple pack sizes, which will result in lower food costs.

Grand Casino Coushatta was successfully up and running on EatecNetX in March 2003. EatecNetX will interface to Grand Casino Coushatta's point-of-sale and financial systems.

EatecNetX will be demonstrated at the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) Trade Show and Convention at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona from April 8 - 9, 2003.
