Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group Selects Eatec's Enterprise
Foodservice Solution

Emeryville, CA, January 9, 2002 - Eatec Corporation is pleased to announce that The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group has selected EatecNetX as its enterprise back office foodservice solution for seven of their fine dining restaurants.
“We selected EatecNetX because it is the most appropriate foodservice solution to meet the needs of Wolfgang Puck’s fine dining restaurants,” said Joe Essa, Managing Partner for Wolfgang Puck. “After extensively researching different systems, we chose EatecNetX because of its reliability, its functionality and its flexibility which allows us to adapt the system to our specific business and procedural needs.”
Wolfgang Puck will use EatecNetX to manage their inventory and purchasing. Wolfgang Puck’s fine dining restaurants include Spago, Chinois Las Vegas, Trattoria del Lupo, Cili and Postrio Las Vegas. Each restaurant prides themselves on the quality of their unique cuisine, which relies on completely fresh ingredients every day. Each restaurant orders, purchases and receives their own inventory. EatecNetX will enable the restaurants to improve tracking of all inventory activity relative to purchases, usage and spoilage and loss and therefore allow for more effective purchasing company-wide and a more appropriate use of purchase orders to verify quantities and pricing upon merchandise arrival. “With EatecNetX, we will be able to streamline our inventory and purchasing processes across our company but still have a solution that is flexible enough to meet the specific needs of each restaurant. In addition, we expect to see a significant food cost reduction since we will be able to more accurately monitor and control our inventory,” said Essa.
