Emeryville, CA, October 6, 2000 - Eatec is proud to present the next step in the evolution of its enterprise back office solution: EatecNetX, a web-enabled, browser-based version of its industry leading EatecNet product. EatecNet, with over three years of successful performance, utilizes a centralized database, which remote sites access on-line, real-time over the Internet or company Intranets. EatecNet offers purchasing and receiving, inventory management, recipes, production, and interfaces to POS systems, G/L applications, and B2B purveyors. EatecNetX provides this same feature rich functionality, enterprise configuration, and Internet accessibility but adds the familiarity of a browser interface.

Technical Features

• The EatecNetX server component is a scalable enterprise application that runs under Microsoft Internet Information Server on Windows NT Server 4.0 or Windows 2000.
• The EatecNetX client is a browser-based application that runs in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5. It has a small footprint and can be run on any PC capable of operating Internet Explorer.
• EatecNetX software utilizes SQL Server 7.0 database.
