Eatec Manages Houlihan's Ops
Emeryville, CA - EatecNet, the online data management system from Eatec Corporation, has been chosen by Houlihan's to manage its in-store operations, across the chain's multiple concepts and over 100 locations.
"Houlihan's has significantly reduced the gap between theoretical and actual costs," says Melody Gerow, manager, food and beverage information systems, who implemented the system for the chain. Houlihan's system accommodates as many as 100 users logged-in simultaneously, documenting purchases, analyzing costs, developing recipes, tracking spoilage and recording physical counts, she says.
The chain's EatecNet database runs on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 at headquarters, deployed to remote locations through Citrix Application Server using TCP/IP connections. Houlihan's includes the popular namesake casual, fine-dinning chain, Seafood Grill & Bar/Bristol locations such as Chequer's in Atlanta, J.Gilbert's, Darryl's and speciality restaurants like San Francisco's Buena Vista.
